Welcome All Visitors To
The Weber Road Church of Christ
We wish to welcome all our visitors to the Weber Road Church of Christ and we encourage everybody to come and join us in worship! Our times are listed to the left of this paragraph, so if you would please take these times into consideration and visit us when you are near. We have youth group activities for our middle school students and our high school students. Our youth minister is Mark Hammitt. He also runs another program we have for all of our kids (high school and below) and their families called Families For Christ (FFC). The link FFC at the top will show you most of the events we plan with our Families For Christ group, and the Calendar page will show you our current activities with involving our youth group, FFC and congregation.
Our Preacher is George Pledger and his wife is Evelyn Pledger. They both do a wonderful service to the church. In February of 2004, we celebrated George's 40th year of preaching at the Weber Road Church of Christ. In our bulletin, he will make several short sermons for us to quickly think about which can also be found on our "Home" and "About Us" pages. We offer FREE BIBLE COURSES here at the church for anybody willing to come foward and take these classes. There is a link for this above the times listed at the left if you wish to take these courses. We have sermons that can be downloaded on the "Sermons" archiving page. I recommend to download all that you would want, listen to it, then later burn it to a cd for use in your car or to hand out to a family member, friend or co-worker. CD's are also made available to pick up in the church foyer.
"Bible Bowl" and "Bible Search" are programs for our kids to get involved in and have fun while competing against others in their age groups, but the main point is to get them to work hard to study God's word. They do work very hard and they all do an outstanding job!
George has done an outstanding job with his one minute lessons on ABC every weekday morning for television viewers to watch. Mark has now taken over this job and also does an outstanding job. He will always encourage all people that watch to come visit us here at the Weber Road Church of Christ, as we all do. We all would like to see you the next chance you get to visit.
