Welcome To The Weber Road Church of Christ!
We welcome you to the website of the Weber Road Church of Christ, and we encourage everyone to join us in weekly Bible classes and in our worship to God! Our service times are listed to the right. Please take note of these times and visit us when you have an opportunity.
We strive to be a friendly church that seeks to serve God in everthing we do! Our leadership is strong with dedicated elders, ministers and deacons. Our Pulpit minister and his wife are Mark and Denise Hammitt. After 20 years as youth minister, Mark became our preacher in 2010. George Pledger retired after 46 successful years of preaching the Gospel at Weber Road. Brother Pledger and his wife, Evelyn, are still a part of our church family. Brother Hammitt also presents a one minute lesson on the local ABC affiliate every weekday.
Weber Road's Youth Minister and his wife, Christian and Brittany Torres, began their work with us in January, 2012. They moved here from Eagle Lake, Florida. Our Youth Program provides our young people with opportunities to serve, grow spiritually and socialize with those of a common faith.
Our Evangelism Minister, Kevin Hunt, coordinates our local evangelism and the training of members to teach the gospel. Kevin his wife, Lexy, have been a blessing to our church family.
We also offer Free Bible Correspondence Courses for anyone to request which will be mailed to your home. At the building, we offer free CD copies of sermons.
We have a growing College/Young Adult program at Weber Road. Two colleges in Corpus Christi (Del Mar and Texas A & M Corpus Christi) are growing. With this growth, we have gained many young adults who enjoy a Bible class on Sunday morning and also have regular activities throughout the year. If you are college age or know a student in our area, please send them our way so that we can welcome them!
